International School's Cricket Festival - April 2011 - Dubai
Dubai's Global Cricket Academy will host the inaugural International School's Cricket Festival. The festival will attract youth teams from throughout the world - with a maximum of only two teams representing Australia.
Festival highlights include a minimum of 6 days of competition and a minimum of 2 days of training, development coaching and mentoring from ex-Australian wicketkeeper Rod Marsh, ex-New Zealand bowler Dayle Hadlee and ex-Pakistan batsman Mudassar Nazar.
The Glocal Cricket Academy is set in Dubai's Sports City, which is set become the world's premier sporting destination. It's cricket facilities include a 25,000 seat capacity cricket stadium, a cricket specific gym, turf and synthetic practice facilities, high speed camers and 'Hawkeye' technology.
Couple this magnificent Festival with Dubai's fabulous sightseeing including Wild Wadi Water Park, Ski Dubai, and Sundowner Desert Dinner and you have an absolutely awesome tour.
