Forest Lake College 2009 Tour Report
A great group of Science & Engineering students from Forest Lake College earnt the prestigous honour of competing in The National Science and Engineering Challenge in Bendigo, Victoria in October.
The group came up with some great ideas and ended up finishing 1st out of the Queensland schools, and 5th overall in the country. Well done everyone, you should be so proud of yourselves!
With such a long way to travel from Brisbane to Bendigo, the group also spent some time sightseeing in Melbourne. It was a busy schedule, but the group managed to fit in The Scienceworks Museum, Old Melbourne Gaol, Queen Victoria Markets and the Rialto Observation Tower - all in one day!
